Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
PaperOS is a product of Trivesh Industries Pvt Ltd, Indore, Madhya Pradesh ("we", "us"). PaperOS is online software that paper mills use to record production, orders and dispatch, store, purchase, import material and staff tasks. This policy explains what information we collect when you use PaperOS at paperos.in, how we use it and the choices you have. It is written to follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.
1. Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile name from Google. We never see your Google password.
- Company details — mill name, address, phone and GSTIN that the owner enters.
- Business data — everything your team enters in PaperOS: production, orders, dispatches, reels, inventory, purchases, import bookings, diesel, maintenance, visitors, complaints, tasks and similar records. This data belongs to your company.
- Team details — email addresses and roles of people the owner invites.
- Technical data — basic logs kept by our hosting provider (for example IP address, browser type and time of access) to keep the service secure and working.
- Data saved on your device — your theme choice, last opened tab and period, and an offline copy of your company's data so entries work on weak internet. You can clear this from your browser settings at any time.
2. How we use it
- To run PaperOS for your company and show your data to the people you allow.
- To manage your free trial, plan, licence period and payments.
- To give support when you ask for help, and to send service messages about your account or licence (for example on WhatsApp or email).
- To protect the service, prevent misuse and fix problems.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising. We do not share your business data with other mills.
3. Where your data is stored
PaperOS runs on Google Firebase (Google Cloud). Your company's data is stored in Google's Mumbai (asia-south1) data centre, sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, and the website is served by Firebase Hosting. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms. All connections use HTTPS encryption.
4. Who can see your data
- Your team — only members of your company, based on the role the owner gives them (Owner, Manager, Operator, Viewer). Each company's data is kept separate and access rules are checked on every read and write.
- PaperOS support — our authorised administrator can open your company in a read-only support view to manage your licence or help you when you ask. We do not change your records without your request.
- Legal reasons — if the law or a government authority requires it, we may share information to the extent required.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your company account exists. If your trial or plan ends, your data is not deleted — it stays available read-only so you can renew or export it. If you want your company and data deleted, write to us and we will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep some records by law (for example payment records).
6. Your rights
You can ask us to: see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or explain how it is used. Company owners can export their business data at any time from Settings → Import / export data. To make a request or raise a complaint, contact our grievance contact below — we will reply within 30 days.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections, role-based access, per-company data separation and Google's infrastructure security. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password or Google sign-in, and remove team members who leave your company.
8. Children
PaperOS is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, inform company owners by email or WhatsApp.
